FAQ's
You probably have questions about RKG Consulting, LLC. Hopefully some will be answered in these topics below. If not, please use the Contact Us page, and send an email with your specific questions.
Q: How do we establish a Consultant/Client relationship? A: After you've cruised through my website, if you think my services match your needs, give me a call or send an email to set up a free one-hour consultation. Let's have a chat first, get to know each other, then take it from there. While some services are uncomplicated, other services may require completion of a Consultant's Contract, which will be negotiated at the appropriate time.
A: Rest assured that all conversations and business relationships are treated with the highest degree of confidentiality. Certain business services are simple, short lived, and readily accomplished. Other more in-depth services will require a Confidentiality Agreement and a Consultant's Contract. I will be the first to ask for a Confidentiality Agreement to protect your proprietary information; that's just good business practice! We can use your form, or my Confidentiality Agreement.
Q: How many clients do you maintain at one time? A: My goal is to provide excellent and timely service to my clients, and I generally will work with no more than five (5) clients at any one time. Each client has different needs and time frames. A Long Term Client is generally not my rule, but there are exceptions. My desire is to solve your problems, provide you with the right tools, and let you be on your way with your successful business. As I complete assignments for one client/business, I generally have others waiting for assistance.
Clients often return with additional requests, particularly if we agreed to break their needs down into easily managed modules, and I make an effort to provide priority to returning clients.
I am conscious of timeliness, cost effectiveness for my clients, and will not over-commit myself, which is a disservice to you and to me.
Q: What are your fees? What type of payment is accepted? A: Consulting fees are individually negotiated, and dependent on client requirements. Fees are generally charged hourly (to 15 minute increments), or may be based on "total project cost" if hourly tracking is difficult to gauge.
Required visits to client sites more than 30 miles away are subject to a mileage allowance surcharge.
Terms of Payment are Cash, Check or Money Order. Payment Due Date is subject to negotiation.
Charges for office disbursements, copying, postage, courier (all out of pocket costs) are charged on a cost-basis only, as incurred, and added to the individual client negotiated fee schedule.
Q: What methods of communication & information transmission is used?
A. Feel free to telephone or email me for a free one-hour consultation. As our business relationship develops, we will use whatever method is suitable to your business needs: telephone, email, fax, courier, IM.
We live in the "technology era" and geographic location between clients and RKG Consulting, LLC is of no concern. I work with clients throughout the U.S. with no difficulty.
Q: Referrals
A: Refer someone to RKG Consulting, LLC and when they use & pay for my services, I will provide you with a finder's fee of 5% of their first month's contract.
